Psalm 115-118

⁹ O ^(K)Israel, ^(L)trust in the Lord;
He is their ^(M)help and their shield.
¹⁰ O house of ^(N)Aaron, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
¹¹ You who ^[e](O)fear the Lord, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
¹² The Lord ^(P)has been mindful of us; He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.
¹³ He will ^(Q)bless those who ^[f]fear the Lord,
^(R)The small together with the great.
¹⁴ May the Lord ^(S)give you increase,
You and your children.
¹⁵ May you be blessed of the Lord,
^(T)Maker of heaven and earth.

¹⁶ The heavens are ^(U)the heavens of the Lord,
But ^(V)the earth He has given to the sons of men.
¹⁷ The ^(W)dead do not praise ^[g]the Lord,
Nor do any who go down into ^(X)silence;
¹⁸ But as for us, we will ^(Y)bless ^[h]the Lord
From this time forth and forever.
^[i]Praise ^[j]the Lord!

^5 (AF)Gracious is the Lord, and ^(AG)righteous;
Yes, our God is ^(AH)compassionate.
⁶ The Lord preserves ^(AI)the simple;
I was ^(AJ)brought low, and He saved me.
⁷ Return to your ^(AK)rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has ^(AL)dealt bountifully with you.
⁸ For You have ^(AM)rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.
⁹ I shall walk before the Lord
In the ^[o](AN)land of the living.
¹⁰ I ^(AO)believed when I said,
“I am ^(AP)greatly afflicted.”
¹¹ I ^(AQ)said in my alarm,
“^(AR)All men are liars.”

¹² What shall I ^(AS)render to the Lord
For all His ^(AT)benefits ^[p]toward me?
¹³ I shall lift up the ^(AU)cup of salvation
And ^(AV)call upon the name of the Lord.
¹⁴ I shall ^(AW)pay my vows to the Lord,
Oh may it be ^(AX)in the presence of all His people.
^15 (AY)Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His godly ones.
¹⁶ O Lord, ^[q]surely I am ^(AZ)Your servant,
I am Your servant, the ^(BA)son of Your handmaid,
You have ^(BB)loosed my bonds.
¹⁷ To You I shall offer ^(BC)a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And ^(BD)call upon the name of the Lord.
¹⁸ I shall ^(BE)pay my vows to the Lord,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,
¹⁹ In the ^(BF)courts of the Lord’s house,
In the midst of you, O ^(BG)Jerusalem.
^[r]Praise ^[s]the Lord!

⁵ From my ^(BP)distress I called upon ^[y]the Lord;
^[z]The Lord answered me and ^(BQ)set me in a large place.
⁶ The Lord is ^(BR)for me; I will ^(BS)not fear;
^(BT)What can man do to me?
⁷ The Lord is for me ^(BU)among those who help me;
Therefore I will ^(BV)look with satisfaction on those who hate me.
⁸ It is ^(BW)better to take refuge in the Lord
Than to trust in man.
⁹ It is ^(BX)better to take refuge in the Lord
Than to trust in princes.

¹⁰ All nations ^(BY)surrounded me;
In the name of the Lord I will surely ^(BZ)cut them off.
¹¹ They ^(CA)surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me;
In the name of the Lord I will surely cut them off.
¹² They surrounded me ^(CB)like bees;
They were extinguished as a ^(CC)fire of thorns;
In the name of the Lord I will surely cut them off.
¹³ You ^(CD)pushed me violently so that I ^[aa]was falling,
But the Lord ^(CE)helped me.
^14 [ab](CF)The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become ^(CG)my salvation.

¹⁵ The sound of ^(CH)joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;
The ^(CI)right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
¹⁶ The ^(CJ)right hand of the Lord is exalted;
The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
¹⁷ I ^(CK)will not die, but live,
And ^(CL)tell of the works of ^[ac]the Lord.
^18 [ad]The Lord has ^(CM)disciplined me severely,
But He has ^(CN)not given me over to death.

^19 (CO)Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to ^[ae]the Lord.
²⁰ This is the gate of the Lord;
The ^(CP)righteous will enter through it.
²¹ I shall give thanks to You, for You have ^(CQ)answered me,
And You have ^(CR)become my salvation.

²² The ^(CS)stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief corner stone.
²³ This is ^[af]the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
²⁴ This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let us ^(CT)rejoice and be glad in it.
²⁵ O Lord, ^(CU)do save, we beseech You;
O Lord, we beseech You, do send ^(CV)prosperity!
^26 (CW)Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord;
We have ^(CX)blessed you from the house of the Lord.
^27 (CY)The Lord is God, and He has given us ^(CZ)light;
Bind the festival sacrifice with cords ^[ag]to the ^(DA)horns of the altar.
^28 (DB)You are my God, and I give thanks to You;
You are my God, ^(DC)I extol You.
^29 (DD)Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
