3 El(A) îmi va trimite izbăvire din cer,
în timp ce prigonitorul meu îmi aruncă(B) ocări.
Da, Dumnezeu Îşi va(C) trimite bunătatea şi credincioşia.
4 Sufletul meu este între nişte lei:
stau culcat în mijlocul unor oameni care varsă flăcări,
în mijlocul unor oameni ai(D) căror dinţi sunt suliţe şi săgeţi
şi a căror limbă(E) este o sabie ascuţită.
5 Înalţă-Te(F) peste ceruri, Dumnezeule,
peste tot pământul să se întindă slava Ta!

3 He sends from heaven and saves me,(A)
rebuking those who hotly pursue me—[a](B)
God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.(C)
4 I am in the midst of lions;(D)
I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts—
men whose teeth are spears and arrows,
whose tongues are sharp swords.(E)
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.(F)
