3 El trimite poruncă din cer şi mă mântuieşte;
îl face de ruşine pe prigonitorul meu!Sela
Dumnezeu Îşi trimite îndurarea şi credincioşia.
4 Sunt în mijlocul leilor;
mă culc printre cei ce devorează,
oameni ai căror dinţi sunt suliţe şi săgeţi
şi a căror limbă este o sabie tăioasă.
5 Fii înălţat[a], Dumnezeule, mai presus de ceruri!
Fie slava Ta peste întreg pământul!

I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts—
men whose teeth are spears and arrows,
whose tongues are sharp swords.(E)
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.(F)
