Cu mâna Ta(A) ai izgonit neamuri ca să-i sădeşti pe ei,
ai lovit popoare ca să-i întinzi pe ei.

With your hand you drove out(A) the nations
    and planted(B) our ancestors;
you crushed(C) the peoples
    and made our ancestors flourish.(D)
It was not by their sword(E) that they won the land,
    nor did their arm bring them victory;
it was your right hand,(F) your arm,(G)
    and the light(H) of your face, for you loved(I) them.

You are my King(J) and my God,(K)
    who decrees[a] victories(L) for Jacob.
