33 Radosno BOGU pjevajte,
vi koji dobro činite!
Pravo je da ga pravedni slave!
2 Slavite BOGA glazbom na liri,
svirajte mu na harfi s deset žica.
3 Pjevajte mu novu pjesmu[a],
lijepo svirajte i glasno kličite!
4 Jer, pouzdana je BOŽJA riječ
u svemu što čini.
5 BOG voli pravednost i pravdu,
zemlju ispunjava svojom vjernom ljubavlju.
6 Na BOŽJU riječ nebesa su stvorena.
Dahom iz njegovih usta
nastala su nebeska tijela.
7 Sve je vode skupio
i pohranio ih iznad neba.[b]
8 Neka cijela zemlja slavi BOGA
i svi ljudi nek' strahuju pred njim.
9 Jer, na njegovu riječ stvoren je svijet,
sve je nastalo na njegovu zapovijed.
10 Planove naroda BOG može pomutiti,
sve ljudske zamisli osujetiti.
11 A BOŽJE odluke dobre su zauvijek,
njegovi planovi dobri su za svaki naraštaj.
12 Blago narodu kojem je on BOG,
blago ljudima koje je sebi odabrao.
13 BOG s neba sve prati
i vidi čitavo čovječanstvo.
14 Gleda sa svog prijestolja,
motri sve ljude na zemlji.
15 Za svakoga zna što misli
i što svaki od njih radi.
16 Kralja ne spašava moć njegove vojske,
kao ni ratnika njegova velika snaga.
17 Uzalud je zbog konja nadati se pobjedi,
njihova snaga ne može spasiti.
18 Već BOG čuva sve koji ga štuju,
sve koji se na njegovu ljubav oslanjaju.
19 On ih spašava od smrti
i čuva ih na životu u vrijeme gladi.
20 Zato mi čekamo BOGA,
jer on nas štiti i spašava.
21 On nas čini sretnima.
Uzdamo se jedino u njegovo sveto ime.
22 BOŽE, pošto se uvijek u tebe uzdamo,
neka tvoja vjerna ljubav bude uz nas.

English Standard Version
The Steadfast Love of the Lord
33 (A)Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous!
(B)Praise befits the upright.
2 Give thanks to the Lord with the (C)lyre;
make melody to him with (D)the harp of (E)ten strings!
3 Sing to him (F)a new song;
play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.
4 For the word of the Lord is upright,
and all his work is done in (G)faithfulness.
5 He (H)loves righteousness and justice;
(I)the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.
6 By (J)the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
and by (K)the breath of his mouth all (L)their host.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea as (M)a heap;
he (N)puts the deeps in storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
9 For (O)he spoke, and it came to be;
he commanded, and it stood firm.
10 The Lord (P)brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
he frustrates the plans of the peoples.
11 (Q)The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
the plans of his heart to all generations.
12 (R)Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has (S)chosen as his heritage!
13 The Lord (T)looks down from heaven;
he sees all the children of man;
14 from (U)where he sits enthroned he (V)looks out
on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15 he who fashions the hearts of them all
and observes all their deeds.
16 (W)The king is not saved by his great army;
a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
17 (X)The war horse is a false hope for salvation,
and by its great might it cannot rescue.
