⁴ O ^(A)Lord God of hosts,
^(B)How long will You ^[a]be angry with the prayer of Your people?
⁵ You have fed them with the ^(C)bread of tears,
And You have made them to drink tears in ^[b]large measure.
⁶ You make us ^[c]an object of contention ^(D)to our neighbors,
And our enemies laugh among themselves.
