⁴³ When He performed His ^(A)signs in Egypt
And His ^(B)miracles in the field of Zoan,
⁴⁴ And ^(C)turned their rivers to blood,
And their streams, they could not drink.
⁴⁵ He sent among them swarms of ^(D)flies which devoured them,
And ^(E)frogs which destroyed them.
⁴⁶ He gave also their crops to the ^(F)grasshopper
And the fruit of their labor to the ^(G)locust.
⁴⁷ He killed their vines with ^(H)hailstones
And their sycamore trees with frost.
⁴⁸ He gave over their ^(I)cattle also to the hailstones
And their herds to bolts of lightning.
⁴⁹ He ^(J)sent upon them His burning anger,
Fury and indignation and ^[a]distress,
^[b]A band of destroying angels.
⁵⁰ He leveled a path for His anger;
He did not hold back their soul from death,
But ^(K)gave over their life to the plague,
⁵¹ So He ^(L)struck all the firstborn in Egypt,
The ^(M)first of their vigor in the tents of ^(N)Ham.

²⁷ They ^(A)set forth the words of His signs among them,
And miracles in the land of Ham.
²⁸ He ^(B)sent darkness and made it dark;
And they did not ^(C)rebel against His words.
²⁹ He ^(D)turned their waters into blood
And caused their fish to die.
³⁰ Their land swarmed with ^(E)frogs
Even in the ^(F)chambers of their kings.
³¹ He spoke, and there came a ^(G)swarm of flies
And ^(H)gnats in all their territory.
³² He ^[a]gave them ^(I)hail for rain,
And flaming fire in their land.
³³ He also ^(J)struck down their vines and their fig trees,
And He shattered the trees of their territory.
³⁴ He spoke, and ^(K)locusts came,
And creeping locusts, without number,
³⁵ And ^[b]they ate up all vegetation in their land,
And ^[c]they ate up the fruit of their ground.
³⁶ He also ^(L)struck down all the firstborn in their land,
The ^(M)first of all their vigor.
