Psalm 78:37-39

³⁷ For their heart was not ^(A)prepared to remain with Him,
Nor were they faithful in His covenant.
³⁸ But He, being ^(B)compassionate, ^(C)atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them;
And He abounded in ^(D)turning back His anger
And did not arouse all His wrath.
³⁹ Thus ^(E)He remembered that they were but ^(F)flesh,
A ^[a](G)wind that goes and does not return.
