2 Remember the nation you purchased(A) long ago,(B)
    the people of your inheritance,(C) whom you redeemed(D)—
    Mount Zion,(E) where you dwelt.(F)
3 Turn your steps toward these everlasting ruins,(G)
    all this destruction the enemy has brought on the sanctuary.

4 Your foes roared(H) in the place where you met with us;
    they set up their standards(I) as signs.

(B)They set up their banners for signs.
