Psalm 73:20-22

²⁰As a dream when one awakes,
So, Lord, when You awake,
You shall despise their image.

²¹Thus my heart was grieved,
And I was ^[a]vexed in my mind.
²²^(A)I was so foolish and ignorant;
I was like a beast before You.

when you arise, Lord,
you will despise them as fantasies.^(C)

and my spirit embittered,
²²I was senseless^(D) and ignorant;
I was a brute beast^(E) before you.
