Psalm 68:5-10
New International Version
5 A father to the fatherless,(A) a defender of widows,(B)
is God in his holy dwelling.(C)
6 God sets the lonely(D) in families,[a](E)
he leads out the prisoners(F) with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.(G)
7 When you, God, went out(H) before your people,
when you marched through the wilderness,[b](I)
8 the earth shook,(J) the heavens poured down rain,(K)
before God, the One of Sinai,(L)
before God, the God of Israel.(M)
9 You gave abundant showers,(N) O God;
you refreshed your weary inheritance.
10 Your people settled in it,
and from your bounty,(O) God, you provided(P) for the poor.
