But may the righteous be glad
    and rejoice(A) before God;
    may they be happy and joyful.

Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,(B)
    extol him who rides on the clouds[a](C);
    rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.(D)
A father to the fatherless,(E) a defender of widows,(F)
    is God in his holy dwelling.(G)

When you, God, went out(L) before your people,
    when you marched through the wilderness,[c](M)
the earth shook,(N) the heavens poured down rain,(O)
    before God, the One of Sinai,(P)
    before God, the God of Israel.(Q)
You gave abundant showers,(R) O God;
    you refreshed your weary inheritance.
10 Your people settled in it,
    and from your bounty,(S) God, you provided(T) for the poor.
