³Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me in thy strength.

⁴O God, hear my prayer: give ear to the words of my mouth.

²God looks down from heaven^(A)
    on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,^(B)
    any who seek God.^(C)
³Everyone has turned away, all have become corrupt;
    there is no one who does good,
    not even one.^(D)

⁴Do all these evildoers know nothing?

They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on God.
