Psalm 50:5-15

New International Version

⁷ “Listen, my people, and I will speak;
    I will testify^(E) against you, Israel:
    I am God, your God.^(F)
8 I bring no charges^(G) against you concerning your sacrifices
    or concerning your burnt offerings,^(H) which are ever before me.
⁹ I have no need of a bull^(I) from your stall
    or of goats^(J) from your pens,^(K)
10 for every animal of the forest^(L) is mine,
    and the cattle on a thousand hills.^(M)
11 I know every bird^(N) in the mountains,
    and the insects in the fields^(O) are mine.
¹² If I were hungry I would not tell you,
    for the world^(P) is mine, and all that is in it.^(Q)
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls
    or drink the blood of goats?

¹⁴ “Sacrifice thank offerings^(R) to God,
    fulfill your vows^(S) to the Most High,^(T)
15 and call^(U) on me in the day of trouble;^(V)
    I will deliver^(W) you, and you will honor^(X) me.”
