God Is King over All the Earth
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of (A)the Sons of Korah.
47 (B)Clap your hands, all peoples!
(C)Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
2 For the Lord, the Most High, (D)is to be feared,
(E)a great king over all the earth.
3 He (F)subdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
4 He chose our (G)heritage for us,
(H)the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah
5 God (I)has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7 For God is (J)the King of all the earth;
sing praises (K)with a psalm![a]
8 God (L)reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
9 (M)The princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For (N)the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!

47 ¡Aplaudan, pueblos todos!
¡Aclamen a Dios con gritos de alegría!
2 ¡Cuán imponente es el Señor Altísimo,
el gran Rey de toda la tierra!
3 Sometió a nuestro dominio las naciones;
puso a los pueblos bajo nuestros pies;
4 escogió para nosotros una heredad
que es el orgullo de Jacob, a quien amó. Selah
5 Dios el Señor ha ascendido
entre gritos de alegría y toques de trompeta.
6 ¡Canten, canten salmos a Dios!
¡Canten, canten salmos a nuestro rey!
7 Dios es el rey de toda la tierra;
por eso, cántenle un salmo de alabanza.[a]
8 Dios reina sobre las naciones;
Dios está sentado en su santo trono.
9 Los nobles de los pueblos se reúnen
con el pueblo del Dios de Abraham,
pues de Dios son los imperios de la tierra.
¡Él es grandemente enaltecido!
