42 As the deer ^[b]pants for the water brooks,
So my soul ^[c](A)pants for You, O God.
² My soul ^(B)thirsts for God, for the ^(C)living God;
When shall I come and ^[d](D)appear before God?

63 O God, ^(A)You are my God; I shall seek You ^[b]earnestly;
My soul ^(B)thirsts for You, my flesh ^[c]yearns for You,
In a ^(C)dry and weary land where there is no water.

² My ^(A)soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the ^(B)living God.

⁴⁰ Behold, I ^(A)long for Your precepts;
Revive me through Your righteousness.
