Psalm 34:16-18

New International Version

¹⁶but the face of the Lord is against^(A) those who do evil,^(B)
to blot out their name^(C) from the earth.

¹⁷The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears^(D) them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
¹⁸The Lord is close^(E) to the brokenhearted^(F)
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
