⁹For he spoke and they were made: he commanded and they were created.

¹⁰The Lord bringeth to naught the counsels of nations; and he rejecteth the devices of people, and casteth away the counsels of princes.

Psalm 32:8-10

⁸I will instruct^(A) you and teach you^(B) in the way you should go;
    I will counsel you with my loving eye on^(C) you.
⁹Do not be like the horse or the mule,
    which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle^(D)
    or they will not come to you.
¹⁰Many are the woes of the wicked,^(E)
    but the Lord’s unfailing love
    surrounds the one who trusts^(F) in him.
