7 You are my hiding place;(A)
You protect me from trouble.(B)
You surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance.
8 I will instruct you and show you the way to go;(C)
with My eye on you, I will give counsel.(D)
9 Do not be like a horse or mule,
without understanding,
that must be controlled with bit and bridle
or else it will not come near you.(E)

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
