Psalm 27:9-14

New International Version

⁹ Do not hide your face^(A) from me,
    do not turn your servant away in anger;^(B)
    you have been my helper.^(C)
Do not reject me or forsake^(D) me,
    God my Savior.^(E)
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
    the Lord will receive me.
¹¹ Teach me your way,^(F) Lord;
    lead me in a straight path^(G)
    because of my oppressors.^(H)
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
    for false witnesses^(I) rise up against me,
    spouting malicious accusations.

¹³ I remain confident of this:
    I will see the goodness of the Lord^(J)
    in the land of the living.^(K)
14 Wait^(L) for the Lord;
    be strong^(M) and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.
