Psalm 27:5-10

New International Version

⁵ For in the day of trouble^(A)
    he will keep me safe^(B) in his dwelling;
he will hide me^(C) in the shelter of his sacred tent
    and set me high upon a rock.^(D)

⁶ Then my head will be exalted^(E)
    above the enemies who surround me;^(F)
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice^(G) with shouts of joy;^(H)
    I will sing^(I) and make music^(J) to the Lord.

⁷ Hear my voice^(K) when I call, Lord;
    be merciful to me and answer me.^(L)
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!^(M)”
    Your face, Lord, I will seek.
⁹ Do not hide your face^(N) from me,
    do not turn your servant away in anger;^(O)
    you have been my helper.^(P)
Do not reject me or forsake^(Q) me,
    God my Savior.^(R)
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
    the Lord will receive me.
