¹⁸ Therefore the Lord ^[a](A)longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He ^[b]waits on ^(B)high to have compassion on you.
For the Lord is a ^(C)God of justice;
How blessed are all those who ^[c](D)long for Him.

³ For the vision is yet for the ^(A)appointed time;
It ^[a]hurries toward the goal and it will not ^[b]fail.
Though it delays, ^(B)wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it ^(C)will not delay long.
