Psalm 25

Revised Geneva Translation

25 To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.

² My God, I trust in You. Let me not be confounded. Do not let my enemies rejoice over me.

³ So all who hope in You shall not be ashamed. Let those who transgress without cause be confounded.

⁴ Show me Your ways, O LORD, and teach me Your paths.

⁵ Lead me forth in Your truth and teach me. For You are the God of my salvation. In You do I trust, all the day.

⁶ Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies, and Your lovingkindness. For they have been forever.

⁷ Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my rebellions. But according to Your kindness remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.

⁸ Gracious and righteous are the LORD. Therefore, He will teach sinners in the way.

⁹ Those who are meek, He will guide in judgment and teach the humble His way.

¹⁰ All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

¹¹ For Your Name’s sake, O LORD, be merciful to my iniquity. For it is great.

¹² What man is he who fears the LORD? He will teach him the way he shall choose.

¹³ His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the land.

¹⁴ The secret of the LORD is revealed to those who fear Him, and His Covenant, to give them understanding.

¹⁵ My eyes are ever toward the LORD. For He will bring my feet out of the net.

¹⁶ Turn Your face to me; and have mercy upon me. For I am desolate and poor.

¹⁷ The sorrows of my heart are enlarged. Draw me out of my troubles.

¹⁸ Look upon my affliction, and my travail, and forgive all my sins.

¹⁹ Behold my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

²⁰ Keep my soul and deliver me. Let me not be confounded; for I trust in You.

²¹ Let my uprightness and equity preserve me; for my hope is in You.

²² Deliver Israel, O God, out of all its troubles. A Psalm of David.
