Psalm 25:14-22

New International Version

¹⁴ The Lord confides^(A) in those who fear him;
    he makes his covenant known^(B) to them.
¹⁵ My eyes are ever on the Lord,^(C)
    for only he will release my feet from the snare.^(D)

¹⁶ Turn to me^(E) and be gracious to me,^(F)
    for I am lonely^(G) and afflicted.
¹⁷ Relieve the troubles^(H) of my heart
    and free me from my anguish.^(I)
18 Look on my affliction^(J) and my distress^(K)
    and take away all my sins.^(L)
19 See how numerous are my enemies^(M)
    and how fiercely they hate me!^(N)

²⁰ Guard my life^(O) and rescue me;^(P)
    do not let me be put to shame,^(Q)
    for I take refuge^(R) in you.
²¹ May integrity^(S) and uprightness^(T) protect me,
    because my hope, Lord,^[a] is in you.^(U)

²² Deliver Israel,^(V) O God,
    from all their troubles!
