Psalm 22:10-22
New International Version
10 From birth(A) I was cast on you;
from my mother’s womb you have been my God.
12 Many bulls(E) surround me;(F)
strong bulls of Bashan(G) encircle me.
13 Roaring lions(H) that tear their prey(I)
open their mouths wide(J) against me.
14 I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint.(K)
My heart has turned to wax;(L)
it has melted(M) within me.
15 My mouth[a] is dried up like a potsherd,(N)
and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth;(O)
you lay me in the dust(P) of death.
16 Dogs(Q) surround me,
a pack of villains encircles me;
they pierce[b](R) my hands and my feet.
17 All my bones are on display;
people stare(S) and gloat over me.(T)
18 They divide my clothes among them
and cast lots(U) for my garment.(V)
