⁶ “But as for Me, I have installed ^(A)My King
Upon Zion, ^(B)My holy mountain.”

⁷ “I will announce the ^[a]decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are ^(C)My Son,
Today I have fathered You.
⁸ Ask it of Me, and ^(D)I will certainly give ^(E)the ^[b]nations as Your inheritance,
And the ^(F)ends of the earth as Your possession.
⁹ You shall ^[c](G)break them with a ^[d]rod of iron,
You shall ^(H)shatter them like ^[e]earthenware.’”

¹⁰ Now then, you kings, ^(I)use insight;
Let yourselves be instructed, you ^[f]judges of the earth.
¹¹ Serve the Lord with ^[g](J)reverence
And rejoice with ^(K)trembling.
^12 [h]Kiss ^(L)the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way,
For ^(M)His wrath may be kindled quickly.
How blessed are all who ^(N)take refuge in Him!

²⁷ All the ^(A)ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord,
And all the ^(B)families of the nations will worship before ^[a]You.

^11 [a]And may all ^(A)kings bow down before him,
All ^(B)nations serve him.

¹² For the ^(A)nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish,
And the nations will be utterly ruined.
