Prayer for National Deliverance and Security

Of David.

¹Blessed be the Lord, my rock,
    who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;
²my rock^[a] and my fortress,
    my stronghold and my deliverer,
my shield, in whom I take refuge,
    who subdues the peoples^[b] under me.

³O Lord, what are human beings that you regard them,
or mortals that you think of them?
