God the Help of Those Who Seek Him

A Song of Ascents.

121 I (A)will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
(B)My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

(C)He will not allow your foot to [a]be moved;
(D)He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your [b]keeper;
The Lord is (E)your shade (F)at your right hand.
(G)The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall [c]preserve you from all evil;
He shall (H)preserve your soul.
The Lord shall (I)preserve[d] your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Salmo 121

El Señor, guardador de Israel

Cántico de ascenso gradual.

121 Levantaré mis ojos(A) a los montes(B);
¿De dónde vendrá mi ayuda?
Mi ayuda viene del Señor(C),
Que hizo los cielos y la tierra(D).
No permitirá que tu pie resbale(E);
No se adormecerá el que te guarda(F).
Jamás se adormecerá ni dormirá
El que guarda a Israel.
¶El Señor es tu guardador(G);
El Señor es tu sombra a tu mano derecha(H).
El sol no te herirá(I) de día,
Ni la luna de noche.
¶El Señor te protegerá de todo mal(J);
Él guardará tu alma.
El Señor guardará tu salida y tu entrada
Desde ahora y para siempre(K).

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
