Psalm 119:69-71

⁶⁹ The arrogant have smeared me with lies,^(A)
but I obey your precepts with all my heart.^(B)
70 Their hearts are hard and insensitive,^(C)
but I delight in your instruction.^(D)
71 It was good for me to be afflicted^(E)
so that I could learn your statutes.
