Psalm 113-118

^5 (H)Who is like the Lord our God,
Who ^(I)is enthroned on high,
⁶ Who ^[c](J)humbles Himself to behold
The things that are in heaven and in the earth?
⁷ He ^(K)raises the poor from the dust
And lifts the needy from the ash heap,
⁸ To make them ^(L)sit with ^[d]princes,
With the ^[e]princes of His people.
⁹ He ^(M)makes the barren woman abide in the house
As a joyful mother of children.
^[f]Praise ^[g]the Lord!

³ The ^(R)sea looked and fled;
The ^(S)Jordan turned back.
⁴ The mountains ^(T)skipped like rams,
The hills, like lambs.
⁵ What ^(U)ails you, O sea, that you flee?
O Jordan, that you turn back?
⁶ O mountains, that you skip like rams?
O hills, like lambs?

^7 (V)Tremble, O earth, before the Lord,
Before the God of Jacob,
⁸ Who ^(W)turned the rock into a ^(X)pool of water,
The ^(Y)flint into a fountain of water.

⁹ O ^(AJ)Israel, ^(AK)trust in the Lord;
He is their ^(AL)help and their shield.
¹⁰ O house of ^(AM)Aaron, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
¹¹ You who ^[l](AN)fear the Lord, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
¹² The Lord ^(AO)has been mindful of us; He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.
¹³ He will ^(AP)bless those who ^[m]fear the Lord,
^(AQ)The small together with the great.
¹⁴ May the Lord ^(AR)give you increase,
You and your children.
¹⁵ May you be blessed of the Lord,
^(AS)Maker of heaven and earth.

¹⁶ The heavens are ^(AT)the heavens of the Lord,
But ^(AU)the earth He has given to the sons of men.
¹⁷ The ^(AV)dead do not praise ^[n]the Lord,
Nor do any who go down into ^(AW)silence;
¹⁸ But as for us, we will ^(AX)bless ^[o]the Lord
From this time forth and forever.
^[p]Praise ^[q]the Lord!

^5 (BE)Gracious is the Lord, and ^(BF)righteous;
Yes, our God is ^(BG)compassionate.
⁶ The Lord preserves ^(BH)the simple;
I was ^(BI)brought low, and He saved me.
⁷ Return to your ^(BJ)rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has ^(BK)dealt bountifully with you.
⁸ For You have ^(BL)rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.
⁹ I shall walk before the Lord
In the ^[v](BM)land of the living.
¹⁰ I ^(BN)believed when I said,
“I am ^(BO)greatly afflicted.”
¹¹ I ^(BP)said in my alarm,
“^(BQ)All men are liars.”

¹² What shall I ^(BR)render to the Lord
For all His ^(BS)benefits ^[w]toward me?
¹³ I shall lift up the ^(BT)cup of salvation
And ^(BU)call upon the name of the Lord.
¹⁴ I shall ^(BV)pay my vows to the Lord,
Oh may it be ^(BW)in the presence of all His people.
^15 (BX)Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His godly ones.
¹⁶ O Lord, ^[x]surely I am ^(BY)Your servant,
I am Your servant, the ^(BZ)son of Your handmaid,
You have ^(CA)loosed my bonds.
¹⁷ To You I shall offer ^(CB)a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And ^(CC)call upon the name of the Lord.
¹⁸ I shall ^(CD)pay my vows to the Lord,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,
¹⁹ In the ^(CE)courts of the Lord’s house,
In the midst of you, O ^(CF)Jerusalem.
^[y]Praise ^[z]the Lord!

⁵ From my ^(CO)distress I called upon ^[af]the Lord;
^[ag]The Lord answered me and ^(CP)set me in a large place.
⁶ The Lord is ^(CQ)for me; I will ^(CR)not fear;
^(CS)What can man do to me?
⁷ The Lord is for me ^(CT)among those who help me;
Therefore I will ^(CU)look with satisfaction on those who hate me.
⁸ It is ^(CV)better to take refuge in the Lord
Than to trust in man.
⁹ It is ^(CW)better to take refuge in the Lord
Than to trust in princes.

¹⁰ All nations ^(CX)surrounded me;
In the name of the Lord I will surely ^(CY)cut them off.
¹¹ They ^(CZ)surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me;
In the name of the Lord I will surely cut them off.
¹² They surrounded me ^(DA)like bees;
They were extinguished as a ^(DB)fire of thorns;
In the name of the Lord I will surely cut them off.
¹³ You ^(DC)pushed me violently so that I ^[ah]was falling,
But the Lord ^(DD)helped me.
^14 [ai](DE)The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become ^(DF)my salvation.

¹⁵ The sound of ^(DG)joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;
The ^(DH)right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
¹⁶ The ^(DI)right hand of the Lord is exalted;
The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
¹⁷ I ^(DJ)will not die, but live,
And ^(DK)tell of the works of ^[aj]the Lord.
^18 [ak]The Lord has ^(DL)disciplined me severely,
But He has ^(DM)not given me over to death.

^19 (DN)Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to ^[al]the Lord.
²⁰ This is the gate of the Lord;
The ^(DO)righteous will enter through it.
²¹ I shall give thanks to You, for You have ^(DP)answered me,
And You have ^(DQ)become my salvation.

²² The ^(DR)stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief corner stone.
²³ This is ^[am]the Lord’s doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
²⁴ This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let us ^(DS)rejoice and be glad in it.
²⁵ O Lord, ^(DT)do save, we beseech You;
O Lord, we beseech You, do send ^(DU)prosperity!
^26 (DV)Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord;
We have ^(DW)blessed you from the house of the Lord.
^27 (DX)The Lord is God, and He has given us ^(DY)light;
Bind the festival sacrifice with cords ^[an]to the ^(DZ)horns of the altar.
^28 (EA)You are my God, and I give thanks to You;
You are my God, ^(EB)I extol You.
^29 (EC)Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
