Psalm 1:5-6

The Message

^4-5You’re not at all like the wicked,
who are mere windblown dust—
Without defense in court,
unfit company for innocent people.

⁶God charts the road you take.
The road they take leads to nowhere.

⁵Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

⁶For ^(A)the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

nor sinners in the assembly^(C) of the righteous.

⁶For the Lord watches over^(D) the way of the righteous,
