14 (A)Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity;
Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.
15 He made a pit and dug it out,
(B)And has fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 (C)His trouble shall return upon his own head,
And his violent dealing shall come down on [a]his own crown.

    and is (B)pregnant with mischief
    and gives birth to lies.
15 He makes (C)a pit, digging it out,
    and falls into the hole that he has made.
16 His (D)mischief returns upon his own head,
    and on his own skull his violence descends.
