^17 (A)Show me a sign of your ^(B)favor,
    that those who hate me may see and be put to shame
    because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

² O my God, in you I ^(A)trust;
    ^(B)let me not be put to shame;
    ^(C)let not my enemies exult over me.

²⁵ Let them not say in their hearts,
    ^(A)“Aha, our heart's desire!”
Let them not say, ^(B)“We have swallowed him up.”

⁸ and you have not ^(A)delivered me into the hand of the enemy;
    you have set my feet in ^(B)a broad place.
