Proverbs 9:8-10

^8 (A)Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you;
    ^(B)reprove a wise man, and he will love you.
⁹ Give instruction^[a] to a wise man, and he will be ^(C)still wiser;
    teach a righteous man, and he will ^(D)increase in learning.
^10 (E)The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
    and ^(F)the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
