Proverbs 24:9-11

⁹ The wicked thought of a fool is sin. And the scoffer is an abomination to men.

¹⁰ If you sink down on the day of adversity, your strength is small.

¹¹ Deliver those who are drawn to death. And will you not preserve those who are led to be slain?
