Proverbs 2:22-3:11

²²but the wicked will be ^(A)cut off from the land,
and the treacherous will be ^(B)rooted out of it.

Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart

3 ^(C)My son, do not forget my teaching,
^(D)but let your heart keep my commandments,
²for ^(E)length of days and years of life
and ^(F)peace they will add to you.

³Let not ^(G)steadfast love and ^(H)faithfulness forsake you;
    ^(I)bind them around your neck;
    ^(J)write them on the tablet of your heart.
⁴So you will ^(K)find favor and ^(L)good success^[a]
    in the sight of God and man.

⁵^(M)Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
    and ^(N)do not lean on your own understanding.
⁶In all your ways ^(O)acknowledge him,
    and he ^(P)will make straight your paths.
⁷^(Q)Be not wise in your own eyes;
    ^(R)fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
⁸It will be ^(S)healing to your flesh^[b]
    and ^(T)refreshment^[c] to your bones.

⁹Honor the Lord with your wealth
and with ^(U)the firstfruits of all your produce;
¹⁰then your ^(V)barns will be filled with plenty,
and your vats will be bursting with wine.
