Proverbs 19:5-7

⁵ A false witness shall not go unpunished. And he who speaks lies, shall not escape.

⁶ Many revere the face of the prince, and every man is friend to him who gives gifts.

⁷ All the brothers of the poor hate him. How much more will his friends depart far from him? Though he pursues with words, still they are not.
