Proverbs 19:23-25

²³ The fear of the LORD leads to life. And he who is filled with it shall continue; and shall not be visited with evil.

²⁴ The slothful hides his hand in the dish, and will not put it to his mouth again.

²⁵ Strike a scoffer and the foolish will beware. Rebuke the prudent and he will understand knowledge.
