Proverbs 16:7-9

⁷When the ways of a man please the LORD, He will also make his enemies at peace with him.

⁸Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues without equity.

⁹The heart of man devises his way. But the LORD directs his steps.

Proverbs 16:7-9

New International Version

⁷When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way,
he causes their enemies to make peace^(A) with them.^(B)

⁸Better a little with righteousness
than much gain^(C) with injustice.^(D)

⁹In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps.^(E)
