Proverbs 14:2-4
New Catholic Bible
2 One whose conduct is upright fears the Lord,[a]
but one whose paths are crooked despises him.
3 The words of a fool ensure a rod for his back,[b]
but the lips of the wise keep them safe.
4 Where there are no oxen, the barn is empty of grain,
but abundant crops come through the strength of the ox.
