Proverbs 14:19-21

¹⁹ The evil shall bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

²⁰ The poor are hated, even by their own neighbors. But the friends of the rich are many.

²¹ The sinner despises his neighbor. But he who has mercy on the poor is blessed.
