^12 (A)There is a way that seems right to a man,
But ^(B)its end is the way of ^(C)death.

¹⁷ ‘And^(A) it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
^(B)That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and ^(C)your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
¹⁸ And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
^(D)And they shall prophesy.

^(A)“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes ^(B)flesh his ^[a]strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
⁶ For he shall be ^(C)like a shrub in the desert,
And ^(D)shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
^(E)In a salt land which is not inhabited.

⁷ “Blessed^(F) is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
