Proverbs 12:9-11

⁹ He who is despised, and has his own servant, is better than he who boasts of himself, and lacks bread.

¹⁰ A righteous man regards the life of his beast. But the mercies of the wicked are cruel.

¹¹ He who tills his land, shall be satisfied with bread. But he who follows the idle, is destitute of understanding.
