Proverbs 11:29-31
Living Bible
29 The fool who provokes his family to anger and resentment will finally have nothing worthwhile left. He shall be the servant of a wiser man.
30 Godly men are growing a tree that bears life-giving fruit, and all who win souls are wise.[a]
31 Even the godly shall be rewarded here on earth; how much more the wicked!

29 Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind,
and the fool will be servant to the wise.(A)
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,(B)
and the one who is wise saves lives.
31 If the righteous receive their due(C) on earth,
how much more the ungodly and the sinner!
