Proverbs 1:7-9

⁷ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge. But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

⁸ My son, hear your father’s instruction, and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.

⁹ For they shall be a comely ornament for your head, and as chains for your neck.
