30 eu eram(A) meşterul Lui, la lucru lângă El,
şi în toate zilele eram desfătarea(B) Lui,
jucând neîncetat înaintea Lui,
31 jucând pe rotocolul pământului Său
şi găsindu-mi plăcerea(C) în fiii oamenilor.
32 Şi acum, fiilor, ascultaţi-mă,
căci ferice(D) de cei ce păzesc căile mele!
