5 Dreptatea celui nevinovat îi netezeşte calea,
dar cel rău este învins de însăşi răutatea lui.
6 Dreptatea celor cinstiţi îi salvează,
dar cei răi sunt prinşi de dorinţele lor rele.
7 Când moare cel rău, îi piere speranţa,
iar nădejdea tăriei lor este nimicită.

6 Nevinovăţia oamenilor fără prihană îi scapă,
dar cei răi sunt prinşi de răutatea lor.
7 La(B) moartea celui rău, îi piere nădejdea,
şi aşteptarea oamenilor nelegiuiţi este nimicită.

5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
7 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
