Philippians 2:5-11
New King James Version
The Humbled and Exalted Christ
5 (A)Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, (B)being in the form of God, did not consider it [a]robbery to be equal with God, 7 (C)but [b]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form (D)of a bondservant, and (E)coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and (F)became (G)obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 (H)Therefore God also (I)has highly exalted Him and (J)given Him the name which is above every name, 10 (K)that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and (L)that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Lying to the Holy Spirit
5 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 (A)But Peter said, “Ananias, why has (B)Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?

The Son Exalted Above Angels
5 For to which of the angels did He ever say:
(A)“You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again:
(B)“I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”?
6 But when He again brings (C)the firstborn into the world, He says:
(D)“Let all the angels of God worship Him.”
7 And of the angels He says:
(E)“Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire.”
8 But to the Son He says:
(F)“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A [a]scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, (G)has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
10 And:
(H)“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
11 (I)They will perish, but You remain;
And (J)they will all grow old like a garment;
12 Like a cloak You will fold them up,
And they will be changed.
But You are the (K)same,
And Your years will not fail.”
13 But to which of the angels has He ever said:
(L)“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?
14 (M)Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will (N)inherit salvation?

The Last Enemy Destroyed
20 But now (A)Christ is risen from the dead, and has become (B)the firstfruits of those who have [a]fallen asleep. 21 For (C)since by man came death, (D)by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall (E)be made alive. 23 But (F)each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers (G)the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign (H)till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 (I)The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For (J)“He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 (K)Now when all things are made subject to Him, then (L)the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
