⁷ And those men said to him, “We are defiled by a dead man. Why are we kept back so that we may not offer an offering to the LORD in the time appointed among the children of Israel?”

⁸ Then Moses said to them, “Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will Command concerning you.”
