But to the descendants[a] of Kohath he did not give anything because the work of the sanctuary they carried upon them on their shoulders.[b]

10 The leaders presented offerings for the dedication of the altar on the day of its anointing, and the leaders presented their offerings before[c] the altar. 11 Yahweh said to Moses, “One leader for each day[d] will present their offering for the dedication of the altar.”

10 When the altar was anointed,(C) the leaders brought their offerings for its dedication(D) and presented them before the altar. 11 For the Lord had said to Moses, “Each day one leader is to bring his offering for the dedication of the altar.”
